Your captain and coach is a collegiate athlete from WWU whose passion is to share the joy of waterskiing, wakeboarding, and water sports.
Howdy- I’m Lucas and I am stoked to join WWS team as a driver and coach! Aside from water sports I am a lifelong snow skier, mountain bike rider and a culinary enthusiast. When the wake settles I’ll often throw a lawn chair on my paddle board and put on a leisure clinic!

Hi! I’m Coach Ders (Short for Anders). I’m originally from Minnesota and I love all things water! In my spare time I love to dive, fish, and slalom waterski. I started swimming at the age of 1 and since then I have been obsessed with every sport on the water. I recently graduated from WWU with a degree in geology and 4 years of running and competing on the waterski team. Can’t to rip with y’all - it’s gonna be a great summer on the water!

I’m Coach Ellie! I am currently a student at Western Washington University studying Recreation Management and Leadership, I am also currently the president of Westerns Waterski Team. I love hiking, camping, figure skating, and waterskiing. You can usually find me on a boat somewhere. I’m so stoked to be able to share my love for water-sports with others!

Hey! I am Coach Kyler. My past 4 years have been dedicated to the waterski team at WWU. I grew up boating and am passionate about water sports. In my free time I love spending time on the lake slalom and trick skiing, playing guitar, backpacking and being outside in general. I’m studying environmental sciences and am interested in learning more about human impacts on our natural ecosystems

Hi Bellingham! I’m Travis, one of the coaches and the founder of Whatcom Wake Sports. Lake life has been a big part of my family going back generations, with my great grandfather teaching the grandkids who then continued to share the passion of being on boats and out water skiing with friends and family. I’m so excited to be able to share the love for water with our community. Off the water you’ll find me on the local bike trails, chasing wind and waves or up at Baker in the winter. Look forward to seeing you on the water!

My name is Coach Sean (but not Shawn White despite what you might think with my glorious red locks) My free time involves grooming my cat Mr. Sassy, taking him to cat shows, and hanging out with friends at the on the water. I was born dragging behind a boat and I am passionate about trick skiing. Stoked for this season!

My name is Sydnii. I am the behind the scenes person here at Whatcom Wake Sports. When I am not on the boat, I work as a PA in the local FCN urgent care and teach for Backcountry medical guides. My hobbies are wake surfing, mountain biking, walking my dogs, and skiing. I am passionate about sharing my love for the outdoors
